This hotel is not near anything. The train fom the airport to the hotel is quite a long way, and then you have to drag your luggage a mile over rough cobblestones. There is permanant construction all around and no stores or restaurants nearby. They only turn on air conditioning certain times of the year so we sweat all night. The worst part us the staff who treats you like dirt, and they know nothing about Amsterdam. Ask them a question and they pull out their cell phone and start searching. This is NOT the IHG or HI Express that I know Ther are better and much more convenient hotels in Amsterdam.Hotels should drop this hotel off their list. And please hotel manager, do not come on here with apologies. You did not help me when I was there April 13 thru 16 2026. If you need a plug adapter at this hotel, they will not loan you one, but will sell you one for 18 usd, when they are 4 usd in downtown Amsterdam.

Hotel was booked for the location to the theatre nearby. This is ideal but it’s a good 10 minute walk to the local train and then 25 mins into the city and 5 to the airport. The hotel is decent. Would I stay there again if not going to the theatre? Probably not. The trains don’t run too late so I would go and stay in the centre of Amsterdam.
