Love this place, we even went down to Kure Beach to find a different place to stay because my husband got a 22 foot boat so we needed a place to park it, well to find out the seabird has a place so he can park his boat so we are not going anywhere, it's a great place to stay

The stay was amazing the room was clean and it was short distance from beach access. My only issue with this place was there was no thrash bag in my thrash can during my stay & the remote was missing from room but eventually I was able to get a remote from a vacant from. Other than the minor issues I loved the room and my family enjoyed themselves. I would definitely still recommend this place to anyone.

Cons - rickety tables & chairs, one bed was tilted to one side and appeared about to fall apart, no remote for tv, shower curtain inadequate for keeping water in shower & off floor, toilet didn’t function properly-slow or no flush. Pros - room was quaintly decorated (decor just needed a refresh-some furniture was showing its age), plenty of utensils, etc. in kitchen, good parking, central location. Not the fault of the motel, but Kure Beach is not a very enticing prospect - dirty, dead animals on beach, less than adequate facilities for a day at the beach.

Room was clean, everything we needed was provided and they even let us check out an hour late since it wasn't busy and didn't charge anything. It was a little too cold for beach activities, but honestly it's in a perfect walkable area when the season is right. The bed was SUPER comfortable and we got a fantastic night's sleep!

Pros: Very clean room, located near a lot of great restaurants. Plenty of towels, comfy bed (being your own blankets), nice little coffee maker, plenty of lighting. Cons: the shower was difficult to use and the heater only works if you have the curtains wide open. There's no staff since it's automated.
