Amazing island mediocre resort

The island is beurifull and the staff freindly and helpfull. However the resort is very worn down and somewhat poorly managed. For instance it is a constant lack of beach towels. There is a lot of tourists on the island so do not expect to be alone.

Our stay in Seven Seas was very pleasant; surrounded by palm trees and a picturesque beach. The rooms were nice with a traditional tropical ambience with mosquito nets and open bathroom. Having said that the place could do with some maintenance, especially the beach beds and the beach itself. They could run some environmental awareness programmes. both for the western guests as well as the locals. The beaches are littered with plastic - packets, bottles, cigarette butts etc. The Island should abolish or reduces to the minimum the use of 1 time plastic including water bottles and straws.

I would say this hotel is more of a three-star rating. The rooms are spacious, clean, and nice. However, there could have been some kind of side table in the bedroom. The bathroom is located in a conservatory with bamboo tubes for privacy. There's also the refrigerator there. The staff is friendly, and the pool is decent. My biggest criticism is how poorly the wifi works in the room. It's super slow and, at times, doesn't work at all. So, don't expect to stream anything, watch YouTube, or work remotely. This should definitely be addressed as soon as possible in 2026. Also, the breakfast isn’t very exciting. Quite simple. So, in summary: Nice three-star hotel. But considering the price? Definitely not worth it. Had we known what it was like beforehand, we wouldn't have booked it.

Omgivelserne er virkelig idylliske og giver en helt særlig ro fra det øjeblik, man ankommer. Personalet var ekstremt venlige, imødekommende og altid klar til at hjælpe, hvilket gjorde opholdet endnu bedre. Vi boede i en bungalow med havudsigt, som var ren, velholdt og rigtig lækker, med en skøn udsigt over havet. Stemningen på resortet var meget stille, rolig og hyggelig – perfekt, hvis man ønsker afslapning, natur og kvalitetstid uden støj og stress. Et skønt sted, som vi varmt kan anbefale. 🌴✨

Beim Frühstuck war das Essen vom Buffet kalt (z.B. Reis, Würstchen etc.). Am ersten Tag hatte es gegen Ende des Frühstücks keine Wassermelonen mehr und am zweiten Tag dasselbe mit Ananas. Lever inte upp till förväntningarna

Ett fint hotell som tyvärr har tappat sin forna glans. Det var bättre service och högre standart för 8 år sen. Vi hade bokat rum för 3 personer men det fanns sovplatser för bara två i vår villa. När vi påpekade för receptionen att vi hade en bokning för tre personer blev vi erbjudna att få en extra säng mot betalning. Då de redan bjöd på frukost för tredje personen. Vilket jag anser är dålig service och konstig resonemang. Efter att vi argumenterade tillbaka fick vi en extra kudde och en extra handduk utan extra kostnad men behövde fortfarande sova tre personer i dubbla sängen. Vattnet i kranen var salt och det blev kraftiga missfärgningar om det råkade komma på vita kläder. Sängkläderna var slitna, missfärgade och med håll i. Dock otroligt mysigt med utomhusbadrum och spektakulär location. Även om ön är tyvärr mycket mer exploaterad än för några år sen.

Koh Kradan is a quiet island far from the noise of more well known spots like Phuket or Koh Phi Phi. There is no shopping and no nightlife, just gorgeous beaches and crystal clear water and coral reeves to enjoy. The Seven Seas provides the ideal balance between quiet luxury, excellent service and a relaxed friendly atmosphere. We almost a week at the resort in early January and thoroughly enjoyed our time. Staff promptly assisted with organising trips to nearby islands without being pushy. There is also a PADI branch within the compound that will provide very nice diving/snorkelling experiences (try the Koh Rock diving trip - it is wonderful, even if you just want to snorkel). I would go back anytime!
