We are locals who stayed here during our termite tenting. The rooms are super clean with all the amenities you need. The hosts are lovely people and we had a great time here. It's a short walk to the beach, restaurants, shopping and the bars so the location is just perfect. Great place for your out-of-town guests or a staycation of your own!

My wife and I really loved our recent stay at Carlton House. At check in we were greeted by the owner Martin. He was friendly, welcoming and explained everything we need to know about the facility. Our one bedroom unit was clean, updated and well equipped. If you're looking for a quaint beach Motel style place to stay on Saint Pete beach, Carlton House is the place for you. Very safe area. Easy 2 block walk to a beautiful beach with amazing sunsets. Two good restaurants with live music and great food in easy walking distance. Still a lot of damage in the area from Hurricane Milton in 2024. The property is comfortable and mostly functional, including the pool.

We called the hotel multiple times to let them know we were going to be checking in a little late, after office would be closed. They did not return our multiple calls. Finally got a hold of them an hour before we got on our flight. Unnerving not to know if or how we were going to have a room for the night. Our tv did not work upon arrival. The staff was never in the office when we needed answers. Did not know if you just left keys in room and just left when you were ready to leave because no one was in office. We did get clean towels every day. Great location near beach and multiple restaurants
