Lovely hotel, it was very quiet, given it was March but a 25 minute wait for someone to come and serve in the bar seemed excessive- just didn’t seem to have staff about the place. Beach view was great and room very big. Great location if you can find a spot to park your car.

For the price we paid, this was excellent! The hotel is stunning when you walk in, the rooms were nicely decorated, if a little grubby but we weren’t expecting 5*. The beds were really comfy. I’m not sure what the rooms would be like in summer as there was no heating or air conditioning and windows didn’t open much. The bars ares were excellent too! Staff were really nice, didn’t seem the best trained in hospitality, which surprised me for a Britannia Hotel but still, we weren’t put off - maybe some staff had called in sick and they were covering? We’d definitely return.
