Breakfast was good, plenty of choice. Room had a modern look to it although the shower was badly designed, water leaks into the main bathroom area, constantly had a wet floor. But overall nice place.

The room was nice enough, but I wish we’d have opted for a standard double rather than premium with a ‘sea view’. The sea was obscured by the fairground, so we’d have been better off with a courtyard view, which I would have assumed would have also been less noisy. The bed was huge, which was lovely - but only three pillows were provided, with no spares, so wasn’t hugely comfortable. The bathroom was lovely, however the design of the shower meant most of the bathroom floor ended up wet. The breakfast was a real let down, and both myself and my partner regretted booking it and would have preferred to have gone elsewhere. We arrived downstairs at about 9:30 (aware from the posters displayed that the hotel recognised this as their busiest period) and were met with literally nothing at the buffet. There was no bread, beans, mushroom or egg. Just sausages. I’m a vegetarian, so this was of no use to me. Other guests were complaining that they had been waiting a substantial amount of time for additional/replacement items to be put out despite letting staff know that things had run out. After about 15 minutes extras started to arrived, but in dribs and drabs - so it wasn’t possible to get a ‘full’ plate of breakfast. Having worked in hospitality, if you advertise a period as your busiest time, then surely you should be well prepped to ensure replenishments are available.

I stayed 2 nights in a premium sea view room. I had to move on night 2 as TV didn't work. 1st room was lovely spacious bed comfy but no TV. 2nd room was smaller, bed was uncomfortable but, did have a TV that worked. Overall would not rush to stay here again. But, staff were great super friendly even if not super speedy to solve problems but only 2 staff on all day 1 on bar 1 on reception

Would 100% recommend going to this hotel was treated with great service and hospitality, located right near the beach and other attractions, but what made the stay exceptionally pleasant was the staff, especially Nina and Sukunder very hard working and polite and always made sure me and partner had the best stay I will definitely be returning. 👍

Probably the worst hotel stay I've had since 2020! I've stayed at this Ibis many many times, mainly it has been positive (and i have left plenty of positive reviews) but this stay was terrible. Tried to check in, they advised room not ready, be about 20-25 minutes. I could see a lot of other people waiting. I am patient, i sat and had a drink and allowed an hour to pass before going back to up to the desk. Room still not ready, they can offer me another one. I'll take it, I've used annual leave and have plans! I get into the room and it was clear IMMEDIATELY it had been poorly cleaned. It apppeared that there was dried sick on the carpet, stains, spills, muck, wrappers and a general smell. I go back to reception, i explain my plans are already in tatters, can my room be cleaned if i go out. I get back later and the surfaces had been done, the room freshened and a towel placed over the staining. I appreciate it was probably the best they could do. The hallways were so full of takeaway boxes and bottles, the guests the night before had obviously been party animals. All staff i interacted with were friendly but this Ibis now seems beset with problems, it is either being understaffed on purpose, or cannot retain staff. It will be my last stay at this hotel unless i see the reviews jump up. Noone expects funfair and fanfair from a budget hotel, but being able to check in and having a clean room really is a minimum

Lovely friendly staff, very well kept public areas. Decent breakfast with lots of choicds. Really lovely view across the bay. Let down by a very very dirty shower head with mildew/mould that fell on me during the shower and vents so full of dust they do not work. Mattress felt like it needed changing.
