From the Owner/Operator Kendra Reed, to the staff, to the antique furnished room, free tour of this historic house, the grounds, the provided breakfast, to the excellent restaurant on the premises. Is there a SIXTH Star I can check somewhere? WHAT A JEWEL. IWhen you are in Vicksburg for the history and culture CEDAR GROVE is a "must" stay! If stairs are an ussue, just be sure to book your room on the first floor and enjoy.this historical site of General Ulysses S. Grant's Head Quarters. Cedar Grive is a nansion and a monument to its founders the Klein Family, and its current ownership. The polite and professional staff is also well informed about the history of the area, and there is even fine dining as well as a full bar. Everything is priced fairly for those fortunate enough to find Cedar Grove. WOW Jerry
