Overall, this is a good value hotel, but definitely a case of “you get what you pay for.” You can tell they’ve made some efforts to update the property, though there’s still work to be done. Everything was clean, which is important, but the building itself shows its age with areas of rust and needed paint. The staff was friendly, but not very attentive. I requested service for my room and didn’t receive it, which was disappointing. The room itself could really benefit from a comfortable chair or small sofa. There was plenty of space for it, and with such an excellent view, it would have been nice to sit and enjoy it more comfortably. Plumbing was a significant issue during my stay. The toilet clogged repeatedly, and at one point even overflowed. This is something that clearly needs to be addressed. Breakfast was minimal, consisting of small, grocery store-type pastries. That said, given that this is a budget-friendly hotel, expectations should be adjusted accordingly. On the positive side, the location is excellent. You can easily walk to everything, which is a big plus. Overall, it’s a decent option for a short stay of a day or two, but I wouldn’t choose to stay here for an extended visit.

Check in was easy and the woman at the front desk was very nice. However, this is where the positive experience ended. We got to our room, which was fine, until the children in the room above us started jumping, running, banging on things, etc. This went on ALL NIGHT. From 2:45pm until around 10:30 pm when the lady at the front office finally agreed to call them. We had complained much earlier a couple of hours into it and she said we had to wait until 9:30, but that she was fine with US confrontating them and banging on the ceiling! 😳However, it started right back up at 5:27 a.m. Nobody slept at all. We were all three delirious and complained again. At this point, somebody hadn't shown up for their room the night before, so we asked if we could have that room. We were moved and so happy! However, the first thing I did was go to take a shower and there was no hot water!!!! After about 30 minutes of waiting and turning the water on and off, it finally got scalding hot for a moment and I tried to quickly wash my hair, but the water pressure was literally dribbling and that made it impossible. Although, even that was better than the people jumping non-stop above our heads. Fortunately for us, at that point we were leaving the next day. Horrible, horrible experience. I honestly would like my money refunded.

Easy late checkin process, very clean, all basic amenities included, comfy bed & linens, ocean view is very limited, but we were aware beforehand, great access to food & activities, property is at the beach access point for driving on the beach, overall quiet, we saw wildlife like deer & raccoons around the property, we had a King room & it was very spacious, great chairs for movie viewing rather than the bed, we will stay again!

Clean linens, great location. We were able to walk/bike most places we wanted to go to. The hotel is as close you can get to the beach, but the beach is still a bit away and you also have access to the Discovery Trail. Our room needed a little TLC- chipping paint on frequently used spots on doors/area surrounding doors. The room was clean upon arrival but could have used a mop on the floors rather than just a vacuum. Good quality shampoo/conditioner/soap and spacious room made the stay comfortable. Great for a family weekend away.

Could not reach management at 8:30 about out a loose barking dog on the 2nd floor and at 11 PM at night Neighbors were screaming with their kids could not reach management. The bed was like a board but the room was clean and linens were soft & nice quality, place is a hit and miss

I went to this city for work, booked this hotel, called to let them know that I would be arriving later than 8 pm, I called, no one picked up, I wrote a message, no one answered either, as a result, I was unable to register and was unable to check in, to this day the hotel has not contacted me and is not responding, they are not returning the money!
