It’s fine place but way too expensive for what you get. It’s a very old hotel that is outdated and hot water is sparse when everyone returns from skiing. I would only stay here again if it were much cheaper as the amenities are also not well kept.

I carried all my ski stuff to room, to find out they didn't scan my room card and was not able to get in. Had to go back down for her to activate the card. The rooms smelled like cigarette smoke. The carpet between the bathroom was torn and stepped on a rusty staple on the ground when I got out of the shower. The carpet had nasty black stains on it.

Awful experience. Tried checking in on time (4pm) and after waiting 2 hours for our room to be ready we gave up and booked a new hotel. Really hope hotels.com will help with a refund or something in return due to the struggle it caused. I’ve never had a hotel or resort tell you they won’t know when your room will be ready after the assigned check in time. We had dinner reservations we couldn’t miss and plans made. Extremely frustrating to say the least. Highly recommend finding another place to stay

For the low price (relatively for Steamboat Springs), it was a nice stay. Bathroom worked great, heating and fan worked great, bed was comfy enough, room wasn't small and the main public area is nice, quiet, and cozy. I'd stay here again for ski trips.

Good place to stay in the area, close to the ski. It has pool/hot tub/open space/game room and those rooms with kitchen are nice for families. It is not spotless and needs some maintenance for sure though. We stay here mostly because it has EV chargers (however, 3 out of 4 is out of order). I really wish this place can get some renovations / updates.

Excellent customer service, warm atmosphere and great accommodations for skiers. Very convenient with the free shuttle service to the ski resorts, stores or downtown restaurants.

Location and access to the slopes was key for this resort. Parking access and shuttle access were a plus as well. The full kitchen and separate bedroom upstairs were ideal for our needs. Two things were of concern. The bathroom did not meet our needs. The toilet was a struggle, but did work. It just took a long time to flush. The hair dryer wasn’t working. It was replaced, but even that was hit or miss. I think it’s the power outlets that are an issue. The shower gel and shampoo and conditioner were terrible. I’m not particular about these either. Finally, a pet peeve of mine - there were only towels and washcloths for two guests and we reserved for three. It’s always an inconvenience to have to “put in a request” and then wait for these.

Super dated hotel. Bed was not comfortable, it's old and saggy in the center. Stains all over the carpet in the room and the hallway smelled like dirty feet. Chairs in the room for the table are also needing replacements, the middle of the seat has no support. The road up to the hotel is FULL of potholes (not the hotels fault as it might be a public road) but you have to dodge them to get in and out. After check in, I arrived to my room door propped open and all the lights on. I immediately felt unsafe and went to the front desk. They tried to justify it was from housekeeping but I was a single female and no one even offered to check if someone was currently in the room as I did not go in upon seeing it open. I had to request a new one and that should have been the first offer instead of them going in the back office to chat with someone about the situation and try to explain the mistake. This made me feel unsafe the whole stay. Good: the fitness center is huge and the indoor fireplace

We liked our room, nice having two rooms for our big family. The hallways smelled like a wet ski lodge and had the carpet to match the smell. The room was clean and nice. We used the washer and dryer which was a nice amenity for $0, but none of the dryers dried quickly or efficiently and after attempting to dry for several hours, we ended up hanging everything and it dried quickly overnight.
