Overall, the stay at Club Wyndham Smoky Mountains was decent. The room was clean and comfortable, and the location is convenient for visiting the area.
The property itself felt a bit dated in places. Nothing was broken or unpleasant, but it doesn’t have a particularly modern or updated feel.
One thing future guests should definitely be aware of: during check-in, I was repeatedly encouraged to attend a “90-minute presentation.” Even after politely declining multiple times, the staff member continued to push and negotiate before finally backing off when I became more firm.
I understand this is part of the business model, but the persistence felt uncomfortable and took away from the overall experience. A simple “no thanks” should be enough.
Aside from that, the stay was perfectly fine. Just be prepared to firmly decline the sales pitch if you’re not interested.
Me personally, I won't be staying here again, but there is nothing "wrong" with this place other than the aggressive sales pitches and dated aesthetic.
