Excellent ocean-front resort on Jekyll Island, GA. Beautiful setting, well-maintained, quiet, close to restaurants and activities. The only drawback was surprise billing at check-in. There was a significant added charge we hadn’t expected. Hostess was not helpful in explaining it. She expected us to just take it without question. We paid the fee, and, in the end, felt the experience was worth the added cost. We would go there again, but like to know what the charges are up front.

Couldn’t see the beach from room but it was not far, took maybe 3 min to be on the dock. We had a pool view which was under construction. Which is fine except the didn’t tell me until the day before our reservation. That was kind of annoying. Check in was fine but all the lady said was you have to call house keeping if you need extra things (towels) yet had no idea how to contact. Was given nothing with a number and the phone in the room wasn’t clear for what was house keeping. Other wise it was perfect!
