Disappointing Stay at the Westin Whistler
After a recent stay at the Westin Whistler, I left feeling underwhelmed and unlikely to return.
The room was visibly tired — scraped and scratched walls, peeling wallpaper, and a view looking directly into a back pathway. For the price point Whistler commands, this level of upkeep simply isn’t acceptable.
To be fair, there were bright spots: the restaurant staff were attentive and the housekeeping team were pleasant and friendly.
But with so many outstanding hotel options in Whistler, the Westin needs to invest seriously in its rooms to justify a return visit. Sadly, it won’t be getting one from us.
