We had a wonderful 4 night stay at Royal San Marco Hotel. The room was very spacious and comfortable, but most importantly was the location! Right off of San Marco Square, it was centrally located to everything we wanted to do.

The room was OK. The bed was not great. The worst part was the shower, which had no lip on the floor and soaked the entire bathroom. The mattress had an encasement, which is a big plus. The paint is peeling in a lot of places in the room, but the toilets and shower drained well. The "mini-bar" did not cool at all. We asked if someone would go fix it, we were told yes but no one ever did. Fortunately we were able to use the windowsill as a kind of cooler. We were told breakfast was available but never could find it.
