Wonderful hotel, superb lobby, lounge, bar. Love the lift although it could do with interior refurb (wood panels perhaps). Lovely room, 5 star, spacious and comfy. Could do with some pictures on walls, to fit the period. Beautiful big bathroom. Will definitely stay again. My only gripe is the same I have with 99% of hotels: No hat/coat hooks.

Clean & spacious room , not yet upgraded in the ongoing renovation but perfectly acceptable and with proximity to the lift for my less-mobile companion. Staff attention to these needs was impressive (safety q’nnaire for evacuation needs) and Louis at front desk was charming.
