The hotel is just walking distance to the station and just one stop to Kyoto station. there's a very close Starbucks nearby, a convenience store and a couple of restaurants that serves really good meal options. Nice hotel with good service and comfortable rooms. It's a bit out of the way from the major Kyoto sites - we had to take taxis or Ubers almost everywhere. Staff could be better at English - very minimal understanding of the language from most front desk staff (although this problem is common throughout Japan in the service sector). Starbucks and Family Mart (similar to 7-11) right next door.
