Clean but you can definitely tell it’s a 30 year old property. I spoke with the manager at check out, who took over the 1st of the year. He said he’s working on improvements but all things take time. He was very interested in my opinions and very friendly. We do like the indoor/outdoor pool but the hot tub is no longer functioning. Breakfast was the standard, eggs, meat, biscuits and gravy, and of course wafffles. We’d stay again

We usually choose this location when in Beckley, WVA but this time our experience was poor. I rented two rooms, in one room the toilet had issues not wanting to flush and when it did it wouldn't flush all the way. In the other room the TV remote would not work, so we couldn't watch TV. The staff tried to help fixed the problem but couldn't. Also, the shower drains in both rooms didn't drain well.( fast enough before next person showered)

A place to lay your head and shower! The staff was accommodating. The first room was near the pool and I had an allergic reaction to the smell of the chlorine and the dampness, they moved us away from the pool to an suite and I recovered. The first rooms sheets were stained (I always check for bed bugs, no bed bugs). The second room was better, the sheets had no stains. The bathroom was clean but old, they installed a new sink countertop but the entire bathroom needs renovated. The furniture in the suite was stained. They provided a breakfast which was average. The hotel was quiet, no noise after 10 pm. Overall this hotel is average.
