This is a basic hotel. The area is nice, the hotel is not. It is dated and it shows. Walks and floors show stains. The AC in the window was dated and worked hard (and loud) That being said: the staff did their best with what they had to make the rooms welcoming. Mattresses and Sheets are comfortable, towels are plenty, Also, it seems to be one of a few hotels at this price.

Absolutely my favorite place to stay in Miami and one of my favorite hotels anywhere. It’s the 1923 building, the cost, the area, and the low stress check in and check out. It helps if you speak a bit of Spanish but not completely needed. I will always stay here when I’m in Miami!

Clean and cute, it’s a historic building that has been well preserved. The beds were comfy and the blankets soft. No issue with parking, there’s free parking on the side street. Very well located, we were able to walk most places plus there’s a free trolly. It was a nice surprise! We booked this place on a whim and it was way better than expected!!
