We had a great stay! Our room was clean and very spacious. We stayed here in part because of their large pool area which our son loved. The view of the waterfront was beautiful, especially in the dining room during breakfast. The property is visibly pretty old and but a bit worn down. But the good price was worth our stay. We also appreciated the hotels location being so close to downtown, many good restaurants, and Walmart for needed runs.

Some guy who refused to give his name, supposedly its Mark when we got hotels.com involved, and acted like he was a manager of some sort was a complete low-life jack-wagon. He refused to honor commitments for housekeeping, got very judgemental when i said there were problems with the room after a juvenile stare down because he needed his to swing lower. And the room was not clean. I get its a "mature hotel", but clean it the right way. Its ovbious that since our last stay the hotel has aged 20 years in the space of 4 years. Back to Mark.... Honestly that SOB had the WORST hospitality demeanor ive ever encountered. He then proceeded to talk down to my wife, call me a liar behind my back, then canceled the rest of our reservation with out our knowledge. When i heard how poorly he treated my wife, i was halfway down the hall to cave in his ugly face with my heel. The breakfast was tasty, but meager portions. Again, not like our last stay. The night front desk person was very nice when we checked in. Mark is a terrible "manager" and i will never recommend this hotel. STAY AWAY FROM HERE. They dont care about you, only your money. Mark needs to be fired with extreme prejudice.

Do NOT ask for a wakeup call! I have used hotel wakeup calls, mostly successfully, for over 40 years of travel. Minor mishaps here and there but THIS one was a night ruiner! Imagine driving for over 8 hours to get to a basically decent room, exhausted. You ask for a 5am wakeup call because you need to get back on the road on a fairly precise time schedule. You get in your room, confident you can shower in the morning, having left a wakeup call. You hop in bed, go to sleep, fitfully at first after the long drive and the phone goes off! Wow, that just doesn't feel right. And then you look at the clock. It's 12:40am. You lay back down, get settled and the phone goes off again. 12:45. Second wake up! So I am pissed. Groggy. Call down to the front desk to get the call reset for the RIGHT time No answer. Fall back in bed and fight to get back to sleep. Wake up and look at the clock. It's 5:40. I'm already late to get on the road. No shower. Late to pick up my Grandson. All in all, a 3 rating is generous. This is the kind of mess up that wipes out most of the good from a stay!!!!

We tried to cool our room down in the middle of the night but could not get the AC to work. The room we had was a king bed with a sofa and a snall table with 2 chairs. It had a small fridge, microwave and a coffee maker. Very nice spacious room. We had our free hot breakfast in the restaurant on site. It was very good and our waitress was so nice. You get to choose your breakfast from 6 different meals. I would definitely recommend this hotel. Also, large pool and large hot tub. We did use the hot tub. Very nice.

Room was clean and large, breakfast tasted great, and I love the building itself. I used to stay here as a kid when my family visited Idaho Falls, so it was a very fun, nostalgic stay for me. It's a great location right on the river. Yeah, it's an older building, but they've kept it pretty nice!

Tha room that we were given was large and overlooking the river . We were serenaded by Canada geese all evening and night at no extra cost! Great room! The only complaint we had was the breakfast. The coffee was not hot and the potatoes with our egg & sausage we not cooked properly (raw) . Diffinitly not up to par for a Contenental breakfast even!
