This hotel is dated. Some carpets are trashed. Rooms have the minimum amenities. And yet the shower gel dispenser was empty. No maid service to give us at least fresh towels. And the bedding/blanket was flimsy. Would not return.

The room was clean but the common things in a room of this price were not available. The curtains could not be opened or closed because they were off their runners. The pictures in the wall had been taken down and the accoutrements that held them up were still hanging off the wall. There was no coffee pot.

Clean, no-frills room! Heated pool, hot tub, and sauna were nice perks! I just recommend getting to breakfast early as you might need to wait in line a bit for the coffee machine, for my fellow caffeine hounds. Great location with a funky hot dog/ice cream place across the street (Lucy's) and just blocks from the ocean. I plan to return!

We enjoyed our stay for the most part. The staff was very friendly, good parking, easy access. But, the breakfast was terrible. No meat at all, not even scrambled eggs. The only real protein was boiled eggs. No waffles, not even cereal.

Our third visit here. We like the indoor gardens in the halls, the large pool, and super jacuzzi. The hotel was full, but everything was handled well. The continental breakfast is good, heavy on sugar and carbs, but offered hard boiled eggs and yougert.

We booked late so were only able to get a suite. The suite is very nice with large rooms, a comfortable sofa in the livingroom, double sinks in bathroom, nice shower heads, comfortable bed with nice linens, TVs in both livingroom and bedroom, also a fireplace in each room, and a well appointed kitchen. We love the pool/hot tub setting, it feels very private. The breakfast room is large, bright and airy. The 1st day there were hard boiled eggs, muffins, bread for toast, bagels, instant oatmeal, cereal, yogurt, cuties, milk, orange juice, coffee. They ran out of coffee cups. The 2nd day there were no eggs, no milk, no cereal, and no napkins. The coffee machine is amazing, it can make a variety of hot or cold coffees. We stay at this property every time we are in Pacific Grove. We love how close it is to the coast which is amazing. We enjoy sitting on the rocks watching the waves crash upon the larger rocks. I always enjoy seeing pelicans flying up and down the coast. Sometimes we see sea lions swimming in the coves or resting on the rocks. It is so beautiful there!
