Had a nice overnight stay at the Metropolitan Inn. Despite some construction going on in various rooms (remodeling and updated) and the run-down appearance in some areas, the room itself was clean, quiet and super comfortable. All basic needs were covered AND it was affordable - which is a huge plus in this day and age! It's not the ritz, but I was comfortable and would stay there again.

Property was close to many things downtown and parking was great. Bed was super comfortable but the rooms are tiny and dated. Attempts to modernize are not done well. Elevator was sketchy! The tub faucet was not connected to the shower wall. Coffee maker did not work and we were ignored when we tried to ask the front desk for a new one. Pics on website are way nicer than real life! Will not book again.

Ive stayed at some nasty, disrepaired hotels in the past, but this one takes the cake. To say it wasn’t clean is an understatement. Dirty floors, hairs all over, soap scum, it ran the gamut. Dingy sheets and linens, thread bare towels. Don’t stay here.
