"The house was great and in perfect condition. Great location as it is 3 min from the Inari shrine and close to the train station which is always helpful. Nothing to complain about except 1 thing: there was no pool table as shown on the photos and we were not told about it. The guy who gave us the keys told us it is being fixed, which is fine but we would have prefered to know beforehand as we were very excited about it. "

A couple things to note for those who read reviews is that the stairs to the bedrooms are very steep and narrow, and I worried for my husband navigating them in the dark at night. "It was interesting staying in a Japanese house. Really enjoyed that. However the location was not practical sunce we had to taxi to Gion. I was unable to enjoy the beautiful bath since the water was only lukewarm and I tried many times and yes, I pressed the water red button as instructed"
