"We were extremely impressed with our 4 night stay at the Grand Hotel du lac. The staff were exceptionally friendly and efficient. The breakfasts were freshly prepared and had everything we needed. We ate in the restaurant one evening during our stay and what we had was delicious. The hotel is very conveniently situated right opposite the market. We used the Grab taxis to get around which were incredibly reasonable. We would have no hesitation in recommencing this hotel to anyone visiting HCMC. "

"This hotel doesn’t provide bottled water like many others. Anyhow, there is a mini market just across the road so it’s nothing too inconvenient. Good location as you can walk to Ben Thanh market and the Bui Vien beer street (a bit far for some). In all, a decent place to stay. "

"The Odys was our first stop in Vietnam - and what a lovely welcome it was after a long flight. The staff were great and helped us book a few trips as well as helping to explain the lay out of the city. The room was lovely, spacious, and quiet despite being in District one of Saigon. The breakfast was fantastic with Asian and European options and it was plentiful. The rooftop bar is a gem too - especially after a long flight when you just want somewhere calm to sit and sip a cocktail."
