"The guest house was, warm, clean, very peaceful, managed by Haroon and his wife, who makes you feel welcome, Only ten mins walk from Ipswich city centre, a bus stop outside and the train station close by, a few mins away, The hotel is well insulated from any road or train noise, as well as free private car parking alongside. "Parking was easy, plenty of spaces even on a busy Saturday afternoon which was when we arrived. The lady who welcomed us was lovely and provided useful information and gave phone numbers for local taxis. Same lady asked if we’d had a good evening on Sunday. Room was welcoming with delightful views across green fields. Bed was comfortable and shower was good too. Really pleasant stay, we’d certainly go back another time and so would our friends who were also staying at The Railway Thank you All...

"This was my second visit. I love staying here. The staff are most welcoming, as are the locals. The hospitality, food and beers are all excellent. The hotel building, bar, restaurant and grounds are most pleasant. The cuisine was served quickly and is very tasty. It is in a lovely place, which is quiet and also not too far from the town. It is also easily accessible. Very easy going and no complications. If I go to Ipswich again I will stay at The Sorrell Horse again!"

"Lovely hotel - room was modern in an old country hall - breakfast was lovely quality although smashed avocado could have done with some fresh lime juice and Coriander - it felt like chunky avocado paste spread on toasted sourdough. Otherwise a lovely stay and pool was nice temperature. Would recommend.
