"Returned 40 years later from our 1st stay, when it was in its original ocean front location, to this 2025 stay. Classic, historic, dedicated beach access, lovely grounds, lush landscaping and gardens, and a great vibe. Rocking chairs and porch swings harken back to the good ‘ol days. Wonderful breakfasts by Chef Georgia, with eclectic culinary creations. Just love this ‘old woodie’ hotel in the original classic OBX architectural style."

"We needed a break from the road and a place to put our toes in the sand and Mia's was the perfect spot for both. We walked to the outlets, where on the bay side we found the perfect Pizzeria-Italian Restaurant and had a lovely dinner with a view of the sunset. I wish we had stayed a few more days and it was off-season and we had the whole beach practically to ourselves. "

"This place is old (don’t know how old), however, check-in was easy, our room was clean, and we were very comfortable. I feel the outside along the sidewalk needs some maintenance and made to look better or more inviting. We enjoyed our stay in Manteo, NC."

"Older property, but well maintained. Parking just off the causeway. The hotel obviously caters to the saltwater fishing and waterfowl hunting crowd, and does that well."

"I cant in good faith give 5 stars for a motel that is severely dated however...I will say this place is "clean" on the inside, the grounds need some love. (Theynare currently doing renovations snd I am excited to return to see the updates). This little gem is hands down the best little hole in the wall motel that is ON THE BEACH and allows fur babies.
