"We live in town and did a little Spring Break stay-cation with a couple of families. The kids enjoyed the pools, while the adults enjoyed the snacks and beverages from the cabanas! The staff at the check in desk were very friendly. The glass of local wine at check in was a nice touch. I love that the hotel rooms and common areas are furnished and designed with more unique furnishings than a standard large chain hotel. It made it feel just a little more special. "

"This property is dated in the outside, and the original floor plan can’t really be altered to be enclosed. You need to drive or walk to a separate building to get the morning coffee offered, other than two packets in the room. As well as ice. Outside stairs to second floor rooms. However the rooms are updated, very clean, and welcoming. Staff are awesome!! We enjoyed our color tour stay and location was GREAT!, for wineries and dinning. Give this one a chance and enjoy the location. "

"It was easily accessible on a main route to downtown Traverse City. I did some shopping and went to a comedy show that was excellent. Roads weren't particularly busy."

"This is a basic "no frills" hotel, which is all we were looking for in this stay. Minimal staff, but available if needed. No trouble getting checked in, etc. Parking on site. Suggest requesting back rooms (not facing main road.) We had no issues with traffic noise with a room facing to the back. Comfortable bed. Plenty of soft white towels. Two suggestions - didn't care for the "steeped coffee" in the room. Also, please change toilet seats to a covered seat and remove the hardwater rust stain in...

"The hotel is a short drive from downtown and various beaches. The street in front is busy, but our second-floor room was quiet. The room was large and included a desk, an easy chair, and a long counter. The lobby and breakfast room are attractive. The continental breakfast included a relatively wide range of options. "
