"This hotel has past its glorydays but it is ok and clean. There are no linnen sheets in the bed, just so you know. The area is quiet and nice, next to the beach. We went there by car. "

"We had a wonderful budget stay with 8 family members. Enough space for social time, good breakfasts and hosts. Gangneung has a lot to offer, the local markets, churches, historical buildings plus lots of good eateries nearby & over the seaside. Just keep your eyes open. We don't speak korean but everyone was friendly & helpful. Bus access is nearby though we drove mostly as a group. Just be mindful that you may need to stay out between 1000-1500 for it's cleaning time. "
