"The hotel does not serve food to guests, and is not conveniently located to local restaurants. Even if you ask the hotel ahead of time if your reservation comes with food and they write in the affirmative, you may find upon arriving that they do not have a reservation for you and will not serve you. Bring your own food for dinner and breakfast or stay closer to town."

"We loved our stay at an authentic old school ryokan. The staff was lovely and worked hard to make our stay pleasant. They have a special greeter named Milk who added to the charm. I slept well on the traditional mats. It was right by the bus stop so easy to find. The establishment has well worn aged charm that suited us. "
