"I can’t say enough good things about Hotel IX and the wonderful host, Merel. After searching for a place on Google and Hotels.com, we found Hotel IX and after our stay in the Runstraat Suite we have no hesitation in recommending it. The accommodation is great, the location is perfect and the overall experience was seamless. Our room had a huge photo of the Runsraat streetscape, and we went and checked it out in person and recreated the photo, which is a cool little touch."

"This hotel was lovely. We traveled with a 10 month old and they were kind to give us a room in the top floor so we had quiet away from the road noise. There are stairs (as this is common with architecture in AMS). The staff was attentive, kind and accomodative. The location of the hotel was great as well, walking distance to the lovely Jordaan neighbourhood and accessible to Trams. "

"It was my first visit to Amsterdam; I stayed in Canal House for four nights; this is historic building, total 23 rooms. Staffs are very professional and nice, helpful. Great location for walk around the city, also enjoy the canal just front of Canal. I will select this hotel again for next visit. "

Not only are the interiors beautiful but the beds are ridiculously comfortable. Location wise you are in the heart of things so nothing is too far to cycle or walk.
