"The Riu Fisherman's Wharf was everything we needed: one block from the Wharf, a short 2 blocks to Ghirardelli Square, and convenient to satisfy the reason for our stay - the Monet and Venice exhibition at the de Young Museum. Something we rarely do - had breakfast everyday of our stay in SF at the Riu... and everyday it was excellent!"

"So happy we stayed here! We had connecting rooms, and the staff were able to accommodate our request for early check-in/late check-out. Rooms were very clean & the views of the Bay and Transamerica Building were a great bonus! Easy walk (10 min.) from the Ferry Building. Close to cable car stop. We took public transit (Streetcar) from the Ferry Building/Embarcadero to Pier 39. Rooms were very clean & the views of the bay and Transamerica Building were such a great bonus! We will be back!! "

"Hotel G's location is great! Restaurants nearby and a quick drive to landmarks. It was my first time visiting San Francisco so I wanted to drop off my bags before check in. We were welcomed by Irene? (Eye-Reh-Neh) and was incredibly helpful! She informed us that our room was upgraded and that we were able to check in early. "Staff are welcoming and helpful. The location is convenient to public transportation, there is a BART station just steps away. The hotel is within walking distance to Union Square, the Ferry Building, or for a stroll along the promenade with a view of the water. Guests of the hotel can enjoy 10% discount from the restaurants in the Embarcadero complex. One not to miss is the excellent Harborview Chinese restaurant.
