"The hotel has classic version and modern version in multiple buildings. Staffs are very helpful and friendly. Lots good restaurant in a few minutes walking distance and opens until after midnight. The location is very close to main shopping street and restaurants. Our vacation was wonderful!"

"Great place to stay if you do not need five star hotel service. This tiny hotel looks like an old mansion converted into a small guest house. It's locates in my favorite district of Shanghai, JingAn, and the area has plenty of nice bars and cafes. But only stairs to get to the rooms, so not suitable with people with difficulties walking. "Clean room but a bit aged, bathroom comfortable but some mold in some corners, but generally ok. Beds comfortable. A/C not working and hotel knows about. Can get pretty warm already, but there is one window to open. Breakfast is very good, both western and Asian options available. Good coffee from several machines and to-go-option. Great location just beside subway line 2 / 14/ 7 and Jin an temple. I’ve had a car and the parking in basement is free of charge for guest. General facilities...

"The location is extremely handy, can easily get around to different district of Shanghai within 15-20mins by car. Rooms are well decorated, the overall aesthetic is very chic. One of the highlights would be the entrance of the hotel lobby, the chandelier is definitely breathtaking. Staff were extremely helpful during our stays. "Great hotel in 192 style, (The North Building) so you get a sence of how Shanhai was in the 1920-30 . It is a great location close to the old historic french area and only 5 minutes from the Metro, so you can be at the Nanjing Road within 15 minutes. Ask for a room at the front side."
