"Stayed here with a friend in preparation for Yorkshire 3 peaks challenge. Check in very easy. Warm welcome. Very hospitable staff. We had to leave the hotel early next morning before kitchen opened but staff left us breakfast (cereals, yogurt etc) out for us which was really appreciated. Also made us sandwiches to take with us. Pub/bar and food was really good. Cosy. "

"We stayed as a family as we were attending a funeral in skipton. Hotel conveniently located overlooking the canal. Hotel was undergoing some renovations work but it didn’t spoil our stay - breakfast relocated to first floor but was good selection and nice and hot. Staff really helpful And freindly - would love to go back when we have more time."

"A lovely cosy cottage with everything you need for a walking holiday. Plenty of info from the helpful owner who came around to explain things shortly after I arrived. A short walk to the station. Parking OK outside cottage as long as you have a relatively small car (larger cars can park further down the lane I think). All in all an excellent cottage."

"We only stayed for one night but had our evening meal and breakfast which were both fantastic. Staff were very helpful on reception and in the restaurant. A lovely old property with a cosy feel and an open fire in the evening. my only negative was the room could have done with an repaint to keep up the standard but the room was lovely and clean. The property was spotless , lovely and warm , central to everything in Grassington and I would highly recommend and not hesitate to book again . A lovely welcome gift of wine , chocolate and crisps was much appreciated along with the tea , coffee and sugar . Fully deserved the 5 stars . Also no need to use your car , lovely local walks and a fantastic bus service ."
