"Free parking, clean room, great staff. Stayed here with my dog, no issues. There’s a few patches of grass outside for him to stretch his legs and do his business. Can’t beat this place for what it is: convenient, budget accommodation done well. Unlimited tea, coffee and biscuits candle in reception, alongside sweets, lollipops and dog treats. A great little stay!"

"A very historic hotel dating back well prior to Cromwell. The room was charming and the knight in armor in the reception area and swords over the fireplace with ancient oak mantelpiece in the restaurant was really nice as was the breakfast"

"Fabulous! Great vibe. As a solo traveller, this is prob yhe best hotel Ive stayed in, in the UK. Enjoyed pool, steam room, etc. I stayed longer and upgraded my room. Massive telly. Comfy beds."
