"The Keilir is a very nice family owned Hotel. It is clean, safe, has good heat and fist internet. The breakfast is simple but nice and food is fresh. I have stayed at just about every hotel in Keflavik and for my money Hotel Keilir is the best value. I've spent dozens of nights there and I always look forward to my stay."

"The room size was comfortable enough for our needs, and everything was very clean. The location near the airport was really convenient, especially since we only used it for an overnight stay. However, the photos were a bit misleading—it looked like the room had an extra bed that wasn’t actually there. Overall, it worked well for a short stay, but the listing could be more accurate."

"Note that It is 45min from Reykjavik but close to the Blue Lagoon (20min) and the KEF Airport (5min) so it is the perfect place to stay at when you have an early flight the next day. Several restaurants are nearby 9min drive. The room was clean and warm, several bathrooms are there to share, we had no other guests on our floor so we didn’t have any issue using them whenever we want. I recommend "

"Had a lovely one night stay at this charming bed and breakfast before leaving Iceland. Enjoyed the cozy atmosphere, old world feel, and unique decor. A bonus is the outdoor hot tub for a nice soak after a long day traveling from Akureyri. Comfortable bed and room as well as a nice hot shower. Owner was very friendly and hospitable. I also enjoyed the conversations about Icelandic history.
Would recommend a stay here for a comfortable and unique experience close to the airport and Reykjanes. "

"It was a good option for us, family of 3 / 2 night stay.
Self check in and out, worked very good for us.
Pretty big room, split-level type.
We used it as a base to explore Reykjavik ( 1 full day).
Very close ( 8 min by car) to the KEF airport, so very convenient for us ; we had to return our rental car early in the morning , before 6:00 am, and be in the airport after.
The restaurant on the premises was nice, good food ( we had fish and lamb chops).
