Short walk to both Kata and Kata Noi. The grounds are lovely, but this hotel can be better enjoyed by people who don’t mind a few stairs and strolls to get to the property’s pools, the beach, or nearby restaurants. "

"Clean room, and located closely to Kata Beach. We extended out time in Thailand and Kata White Villas was a great option for us. Near Kata Beach and the main road, and we spent most of our time outside but was pleasant to come back to Kata White Villas to relax and rest."

"Sugar Ohana is a simply hotel, very clean and has a very good location, close to Kata Street Market(3-5 minutes walking) and a 10 minutes walking from Kata Beach. I do recommend this hotel for a short trip to Phuket Island!"

"Kata for sure is a great hotel. Staff were amazing But they became very stingy with extra charges for my daughter even though the huge suite that I reserved was for three people. I didn’t like the way they managed our situation even though I mentioned this is my 30th anniversary and try to make fine for us. This issue really bothered us. "

"Everything was as expected but starting to do construction a floor above at 9am was a bit uncalled for. At least wait u til 11am and check out time to make it fair, i wasnt checking out but was hoping for a sleep in. "Really good rooms, good size, very clean and well maintained. Feels a bit weird when you first get in due to the shape of the building, but soon got used to it. Common areas and pool very quiet and nicely kept. The plunge pool and hot bath was a bonus, shame the sauna and steam room weren't quite ready for use as currently being refurbes, but looked great. The bar on the top deck is worth a visit for the view. Good location, easy to walk to Kata and Kata Noi beach."

"We enjoyed our stay at Kata Palm we thought it was good value. It’s a beautiful serene setting especially the pool and the refurbished rooms are great. They are currently doing construction so you would want to check your room is away from any noise. The staff were all fantastic to deal with, especially Sutisa at the tour desk who helped with our activities. The area in Kata is near the beach and lot of great restaurants. The breakfast was fine, it changed daily and there was plenty to eat"
