The hotel itself is very clean and in a prime location on the Asian side of İstanbul, you get both the more local vibe and warmth of that side with the European side literally 20 mins by ferry. We would stay again in a future visit for sure."

"We stayed in the standard suite on the first floor, smaller room but it was very clean, organized well and sufficient for two people. Very helpful staff, walking distance to ferry terminal, buses, cabs and the Kadıköy center. If you’re a light sleeper though, city never sleeps so expect some street noise and due to the historical building wood floors, some noise from within. I’d recommend this place for sure."

The location is excellent — right next to public transportation, which makes it super easy to get around. It’s also one of the best spots to walk and explore Kadıköy. Highly recommended!"

"The Marist is an excellent place to stay on a budget. The room was comfortable, tidy and had everything we needed. The hotel was quiet, with minimal street noise, had a lovely breakfast included in the price, and the staff were all very pleasant. The location is easily walkable to the ferry and the metro, and right in Kadiköy with plenty of fantastic dining and shopping options within 15 minutes walking. Would recommend. "

But you can walk to the metro station in 5 mins (loads of life there) and from there on to the busy kurdikoy area in another 10-15 mins."

A 10-mins walk to Kadikoy Metro convenient for SAW Airport and a 7-mins walk to the pier for the ferry to Eminonu and the Old City."
