"We liked the location. South end of Surfer's Paradise. It was quiet. We liked that we had a frig, stove, microwave, dishes, toaster, hot water carafe, balcony with table and chairs, washer and dryer with a sink next to them for rinsing things out. Beach is within walking distance. 1 block from the tram that takes you north and south and easily accessible. Dryer is a bit small so takes a while to dry things. But everything else was good. Reasonable price. Would rent again and recommend. "

"Pretty basic accommodation- you get what you pay for. It's great for young people who want to meet other young people from around the world. There's some opportunities to pay for accommodation by working in housekeeping. Good location - 10mins from the beach and all the amenities. There's a fully licensed bar, a swimming pool, fully kitted kitchen, and laundry facilities. Highly recommended if you want somewhere affordable to stay in Surfer's Paradise. "

"Everything was lovely in terms of the service, location, clean room and nice relaxed motel. We loved the food at the restaurant it was next level. It was so close to walk to the main beach and we caught the tram for .50c outside the motel to Cavil Ave which was so easy. Highly recommend this place for a cheap comfortable stay. "

"Was a great place to stay! Far enough away from the main Surfers Precinct not to hear all the city noise and close enough to walk up to the beach and shops. Parking was easy and secure, building was clean and tidy and nice and quiet. Cant wait to stay there again. An unusual set up was the bedroom with the ensuite had the 2 single beds and the 2nd bedroom had the queen bed. Would have assumed the ensuite room would have had the larger bed set up, wasn’t a deal breaker, just a little different...

"The Maze was one of the best hostels i've ever stayed at. My roommates for super nice, the room was spotless. There is an excellent restaurant downstairs. Two block walk to the beach. Three blocks to the bus stop and easy transport to the airport. I wasn't crazy about the unisex showers, but it was workable. Would definitely stay there again!"
